Client proof

Create, publish, schedule, and send a client brief

This guide shows you how to turn the operating record into a client-facing update while keeping draft generation, publishing, and delivery under human control.

6 minConsultants and client leadsReviewed August 14, 2026

Before you start

  • The client has at least one client workflow.
  • The relevant changes, incidents, ownership, and verification notes are current. Internal tests and duplicate records can remain in AgentHub and be excluded during draft review.
  • A client contact with an email address if you plan to send or schedule briefs.

Generate a private draft

Open Briefs and choose Create brief. Select the client, optional named recipient, and reporting period. AgentHub assembles the current workflow register, recorded changes, incidents, ownership, and recommendations.

Open items are included even when they began before the selected reporting period. Canceled and declined requests remain out. Completed verified changes are available for you to review before publishing. The draft remains private.

Create a brief

Choose client-visible changes and review the narrative

Under Review what the client will see, leave completed verified changes selected only when they belong in the client update. Uncheck internal tests, duplicate records, or work that should stay private. Excluding a record from the brief does not delete it from AgentHub.

New drafts include recorded approval details beside each completed change. Approved by uses the name supplied through the client approval link. Approval recorded by names the team member who logged an outside approval, who may not be the approver. Check the name and date before sharing. Approval emails and private response notes are not copied into the brief.

Check workflow status, owners, open changes, incidents, recommendations, scope reconciliation, and evidence. An unresolved scope difference stays visible in the filed acceptance record. Missing workflow health is shown as Not assessed and does not create a follow-up recommendation. Only implementation references explicitly marked for client briefs are included. Edit the Executive summary so it sounds like you. Add a consultant note for context the record cannot infer.

Choose Save brief review. Publishing remains unavailable until this review is saved. Editing the narrative or visibility choices does not change the underlying operating record.

Publish the frozen brief

Choose Publish and create share link. Publishing freezes that version and creates the public client link. It does not email anyone.

Only records selected for the client brief are copied into the frozen published version. Excluded records stay private in AgentHub.

Open the public view once before sharing it. If the record changes later, create a new brief instead of altering the published version.

Share or email the brief

Choose Copy share link to send it through your normal client channel. To email from AgentHub, confirm the selected contact and choose Send email now. AgentHub records the delivery receipt.

Important: A published link is a client-facing record. Check the recipient and the client record before sending it outside your workspace.

Schedule future drafts when useful

Open Briefs → Schedule briefs. Select the client, recipient, weekly or monthly cadence, and next draft date. The schedule prepares a private draft for your review.

A scheduled draft is never automatically published or sent. You still review, publish, and decide whether to email it.

Schedule briefs

Verify it worked

  • The brief status is Published and its public view opens from the share link.
  • The draft shows only the verified changes selected for this client update.
  • Approval details match the underlying change record. If no separate approval was recorded, the brief says so. Existing briefs keep the approval information captured when they were generated; create a new draft to include newer details.
  • A workflow without recorded health shows Not assessed rather than a false health warning.
  • Publishing displays the message that nothing was sent.
  • If email was used, the brief shows a delivery receipt and status.
  • If a schedule was saved, the schedule page shows its cadence and next draft date.

Common issues

The Generate draft button is disabled

The selected client needs at least one client workflow.

The Publish button is disabled

Choose which verified changes the client should see, review the summary, and select Save brief review. Publishing becomes available after that review is saved.

An internal test appears in the draft

Uncheck it under Review what the client will see and save the review. The test remains in AgentHub but is removed from the published snapshot.

The brief is missing recent work

Update the underlying change, incident, ownership, or verification record, then generate a new draft.

There is no recipient for email

Add a client contact with an email address in the client settings.

Email delivery is not configured

Copy the frozen share link and use your normal email channel. Contact AgentHub support if in-app email should be enabled.

A scheduled draft did not send

That is expected. Scheduling prepares a private draft only; publishing and sending are separate human actions.
